icq message beep to loud

Hi,

I've got a strange problem!

I am using icq and the
message monkey beep is way to loud!
It really hurts my ears when a message appears!
Of course, I can put down the main volumen -
but then everything on my pc is less loud!

Isn't there any way to decrease the volume of
icq itself? I don't want to stop it -
I just want to decrease the volume...

Only way I know is to edit the sounds - the Windoze sound recorder should do
the trick for anything up to 60 seconds in length.
